Case Studies of Inclusion Initiatives and User Experiences

These three reports contain 45 case studies and initial analysis of public sector, non-governmental and commerical inititives to include women in the information society, and studies of the target groups of those intitatives. The cases cover a wide range of situations, from national government policy to women's networking organistions and design of video games. The cases represent individually as well as collectively very important insights into the way gender and ICT is understood and managed in many organisations and government and industry sectors across Europe. These cases are currently the basis of the development of analytical tools to help policy-makers, designers and relevant practitioner communities improve their efforts to get more women integrated into the design and use of the technologies of the Information Society, on the basis of case studies of public initiatives to include women in ICT.
